It's my only big bro's birthday today!.. to my dearest bro, Mohd Norhelmy.. Happy Birthday and may you have wonderful days ahead and happiness always...

and also today i did something drastic which i had never done before... sending my maid back to Indon is something that i didn't expect i'd do at such short notice.. but i had really no choice.. after seeing all the evidence which proved that she had put my kids' safety and welfare at risk, me and hubby decided the best thing to do is to send her back.. and boy, there was such drama today when she finally found out that she's going to be sent back.. well its what she asked for anyway so i'm just gonna give it to her.. anyway, i'd really like to thank my sisters and everyone who had given me advice and help in any way.. i don't know what i'll do without you guys... you are the best!

there is a friendly match today between millenia institute and JGCC... and for the first time, my dear hubby will be competing.. yay!!.. and we are all going to watch and give him moral support..

and tomorrow will be the THK 30km relay walk.. decided to join and support the hospital since my good friend Kak Mar will be going with her daughter and son... its really tiring but once we reached Toa Payoh Hub its such a relief.. ate at Fork & Spoon before we took Bus 157 from Toa Payoh interchange all the way home...

went to meet my ex-colleagues from NUS today.. been looking forward to this gathering which we have planned for quite some time.. so excited to see Tan and family, Wei Fuen, Pet and family and not forgetting Patrick whom we call Ah Kang.. haha.. its just like when we worked together in ASPF a long time ago.. really missed those times.. we gathered at Furama City Centre at 12.50pm.. me and family met Pet and her family first at JE mrt.. luckily she brought along her 2 kids and hubby Razak.. so my hubby and kids will be occupied while we chat with our friends.. we used this opportunity to catch up on each other.. i was surprised to see Tan's son and daughter.. how big they've grown! and his wife hasnt changed much either.. Fuen still looks the same with the 'maggi' hair.. ahkang also doesnt change much except for his whiter hair.. hehhe.. Pet is also still the same with her chatty self even though she's more motherly now.. Her two kids, Elias and Aaron are very active.. glad that they can get along with my kids well.. we talked the whole time about the ppl in Bursar's Office (now its known as Office of Finance).. parrot/finito, half-cup, nenek, ah boo, seetha, mark-kor... some of them are still loyally working in NUS.. ASPF office is a nice place to work in.. becos it's a small office, we had so much fun working there.. here's some pics taken just before we went home..

and just two days ago, my kids did this at home with coloured ice cream sticks... guess children do know how to keep themselves occupied don't they?

for a few days last week i've been feeling depressed.. and becos of that i've been having migraine.. dun wish to talk abt the reason.. it will only make me fall into sadness again.. which i dun wish to since recently i'm beginning to feel better.. only that right now my priority is my family.. so i'm trying hard to disguise how i feel inside so as not to blow things up.. cos if i do it will definitely affect my relationship with my kids and hubby and everyone else... so its only right that i put my children as my top priority.. and that includes their safety and well being.. which makes me filter everything that i heard and take in only the good ones.. its not easy but i'm trying hard to do it.. and i've come to a decision that if one day i can't take it anymore, i may just quit my job and be a full time housewife..

mom went for day surgery today.. i woke up early as normal cos we have to be at the hospital at 7.15am.. reached there at 7 and big bro was already waiting outside the day surgery centre.. after registration and all the tests, mom was sent to the OT at 8.30am.. all of us waited anxiously while praying that everything went smoothly.. while waiting we had breakfast at the kopitiam.. its a special day for us cos all my siblings were there.. just like old times.. and today i received 2 smses from Kak Mardia and Juliah wishing that the op will be a success.. its very comforting to know that i have good friends like them around.. someone who is there for you in good and bad times.. thanks for the wishes my dearest friends.. i really appreciate it..

at 10.35 i received a call from the nurse saying that the op was over and that my mom was recovering... but we can't see her yet now.. at 11+ i received another call saying that mom was already in the day surgery ward.. when we reached there mom was still sleeping.. she looked really drowsy so we decided not to disturb her.. so after telling her that we'll be around, she fell asleep again.. its not like for another 3 hrs before she was finally transferred to the normal ward.. and by that time she's more alert.. probably she'll be discharged tomorrow.. big bro and big sis came again later on.. we stayed till at night before going home at 9+..

today we brought mak for a birthday dinner treat at Chai Chee Seafood Restaurant.. reached there at abt 8pm.. the food was yummy and the best thing is the service there was fast.. guess what? there are no waitresses.. only waiters and they are all so efficient.. the only thing that we dislike is their reluctance to let us use their small plates for our cakes.. we had no problems before at other restaurants..

first of all i'd like to wish my bestest buddy a happy birthday.. i have just one wish for you.. that you'll find Mr Right.. cos i can't wait to be your bridesmaid!.. hahahha...

went to IMM after work to meet lil sis.. we wanted to buy birthday presents for mom.. it didn't take long for us to decide on what to buy.. we bought a watch and perfume.. the things that mom liked.. heheheh.. had dinner at Bagus and straight home after that..
