yeah! i'm on half day leave today.. went to pick Aimin up from school as he had athletic training again until 4.. we walked back all the way from Shuqun Pri to Teh Tarik.. abt 15 mins walk.. it was hot and i was carrying Aimin's school bag which was very heavy.. by the time we reached Teh Tarik i was so exhausted.. me, Aimin and Tisya sat down to rest and had a drink while eating Indian Rojak.. while eating mama called and he was actually waiting at Aimin's school.. cos he knew Aimin had to stay back.. told him that we were already at Teh Tarik.. poor him!.. reached home at 5 and i cooked sambal telur/tahu/tempe for dinner.. hubby will be buying kacang dhal on his way home from work so till then i can have my rest first.. heheheh

my day had been most unpleasant.. just came back from leave with lots of things to clear.. and here a doctor made me furious.. to start off, i had zero tolerance for these ppl who always came and asked for things at the last minute.. 'sitti do you have this? how to turn on this? why doesn't this thing work?'.. i tell you.. it made me frustrated each time.. and this time it was no different.. this doctor had asked me for a table to place the catered food.. i was puzzled becos to me it just made sense that caterers would normally know how many tables are needed since they are the ones preparing and bringing the food!.. i put this across to him and he said it's not enough.. so i called my sup at his desk but no answer.. tried calling his hp but again no answer.. so i told him that i couldn't get my sup.. ok i admit that by then i felt frustrated and it showed on my face.. this doc came again and told me that they'll be using their own table instead (why ask from us in the first place???).. and the next thing he said made my blood boil to the max.. he said that everytime he saw my face its like i don't feel like working (wth!) and then added whether i'm not afraid ppl might complain against me.. the whole time he was talking i just continue to do my work on my pc and not looking at him or say anything.. to me it's just a waste of time talking to these ppl..

Aimin's fever went up again.. at 6 am he took his temperature and it was 39.1.. so we decided to take urgent leave and bring him to the doc.. there were many patients at Eden Clinic and registration has closed... so we brought him to Eastern Clinic which is near to mum's hse.. got to know that mum was also sick.. she felt feverish.. thot of going to visit her after Aimin had seen the doc.. the doc gave him 3 days MC.. he was ecstatic.. you shd see the big smile on his face while the doc was writing down notes.. hehehe.. but he was concerned abt the athletic training on Thursday.. i assured him that he would have recovered by then.. we had our meal first at Aiman's cafe.. called mum and she asked to buy chicken porridge.. we walked slowly to mum's house and when we reached there, she looked better.. stayed there for a few hours before we left at ard 5..

today there'll be rehearsal for sendeng anniversary on 1st Mar at hougang.. we reached JGCC at 8.30 am.. quite a number of ppl and athletes assembled there.. luckily they provided a bus for us.. we reached hougang at 10.. but there were no other senior adults from other training centres in sight.. we noticed that among all the centres, ours are the largest group.. well its something to be proud of.. hehehe... the rehearsal started at 11 and the weather doesn't co-operate with us.. it was so hot and i was afraid to drink lots of water.. wanna know why? cos there are no toilets around!.. dun expect me to go to the coffee shop's toilet.. that's one of the places you won't find me even in the extreme urgencies situations... had our lunch breaks at 12+.. had packets of chicken rice which they provided.. then at 1 they resumed the rehearsal.. fortunately the whole thing ended at 2pm.. we waited for the bus to bring us back to JGCC.. reached the CC at 3 but some of us sat down and chat while enjoying the cool breeze there (which is a complete contrast to the one at hougang).. at 5 me and family set off to IMM to have our early dinner at Bagus.. after eating we went to Giant to buy some things.. and went straight home as we were all dead tired...

i had just started my work when i received a phone call from hubby.. he said the school had called up and asked us to take Aimin home.. he was having fever.. so i called my sup and he let me go home.. so i quickly applied leave and left the office at 9.30.. reached the school at 10.45 and brought Aimin home.. he doesn't look weak but his body felt warm.. gave him some meds and asked him to rest.. and i spend the rest of the afternoon cooking and watching tv..

its my working saturday again.. and as usual my 3 little musketeers came along with me.. taking the mrt all the way to yck and then walk all the way to my workplace.. they are such fun to be around with.. that is if they're on good terms with each other.. hehehe.. hubby waited for us at yck mrt.. went straight home as there will be silat training later at night...

whoaaaaaa... i must have created a record for myself.. haven't touched this blog of mine for a very very long time.. 23 days to be exact.. heehehee.. not MIA.. just plain lazy to update and i'm too engrossed in something that i've just discovered.. i won't mention it here otherwise they will not let me have internet access anymore.. hehehe.. the 4-day long holiday over the CNY is just over.. and we have done some exciting stuff..

Thursday 7 Feb

SIL had organised a BBQ at Sembawang.. so we joined them.. reached there at abt 3 and spent the day there till 8 pm... the kids played with sand and their scooters most of the time since i did not allow them to swim.. there were chicken wings, squid, prawns and marinated beef for bbq.. mom came at ard 7 and stayed a while before we headed home..

Friday 8 Feb

Lil Sis and BIL had brought us and mom to Malacca for one day trip.. they had wanted to eat at Umbai, a favourite seafood place.. left home at 8.30 am and reached Malacca at ard noon.. after eating at Umbai we went to a shopping place.. there are a lot of changes since the last time i went there.. the push cart stalls at Bandar Hilir which i still remembered wasn't there anymore.. and there's a new shopping mall .. we headed for home at 6...

Saturday 9 Feb

Mom wanted to go to TKC so we accompanied her there.. dinner at Teh Tarik after that..

Sunday 10 Feb

Went to CWP for a while.. bought some things at Cold Storage.. walked around for a little while and headed back home at 6.. since its back to school and work for us the next day...

when it's a holiday time passed by so fast.. how i wish work days are like that.. heheheh
