Today we went to West Coast Park for a bbq organised by Sendeng Pukulan JGCC.. reached the cc at 10.15am.. finally we are able to go for the bbq from morning since we already went to the wedding last night.. well not actually the wedding.. went to meet the bride's parents at their house.. we reached West Coast Park at almost noon.. and all the silat kids started on games organised by the committee members.. all the moms sat down and chat while hubby and a few others started preparing for the bbq and laying out all the food.. fortunately the weather was nice.. it only drizzled for a while.. the silat kids went to another location for the games.. so i did not know what games they played.. when they came back most of them were wet including aimin and khairin... found out they were playing water bombs!.. it was time for makan.. and they continued to have fun.. Tisya stuck to me most of the time since her bros were busy playing games.. at night there's even a short performance by the committee members.. something they called the ultraman dance.. hehehe.. by 9pm most of them have gone home.. we waited for mak and mama to fetch us home.. surprisingly they joined us for a while to have some food and we finally left the place while some of the senior boys and girls stayed overnight... pretty glad that the kids had fun today.. and everything went smoothly.. reached home at almost midnight.. and after shower its zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It's Christmas Day and we have no plans yet.. initially big sis had wanted to have a picnic at JE swimming pool.. but she and Zanah are down with flu and cough.. so they need to rest... after some 'bargaining', we finally acceded to the kids' request to go to JE swimming pool... it was raining for a while but it stopped.. so we made our way there and it was crowded.. reached there at 3.30pm.. i managed to find a nice spot to sit... let the kids swim for more than an hour and then we headed off to IMM for a meal since the kids are starving after a swim.. after makan went to Giant and off to home sweet home...

today me and hubby decided to bring the kids to Changi Airport.. me and the kids' favourite place.. hehehe.. took mrt there.. reached the airport after more than an hour journey.. had our meal first at T1 food court.. then headed to T3 just to check out the place.. going there is like going to a showflat.. everything is nice and renovated but empty.. there are quite a number of ppl who checked out the place but it's still very quiet as its not operational yet.. so we just sat down and the kids took the opportunity to practice their silat moves plus making their own stunts.. it was really nice and peaceful.. then we headed to T2 cos i wanted to check out this makan place which i saw in the papers this morning.. it serves toast with different toppings.. kaya, butter and the one which caught my attention.. durian topping! .. we found the place and saw that the price wasn't that cheap.. it costs between $2.88-$3.88 for the toast!.. well i guess next time we will come back and try it for once.. heehee..

miserable, depressed, guilty, sad... these are what i'm going through right now.. to me enough is enough.. i've had enough of all these.. others may not understand what i'm feeling right now.. what happen may be a small matter to others.. but it's not just about that.. it's happened so many times and each time i tell myself to be patient.. but patience has its limits... pls bear in mind that my family has our pride too.. we may not have everything but as much as we do not want to trouble anyone, we also do not want to be felt like a burden.. i'm sorry if all these while we've been troubling others so much.. all this while, i'm happy.. i may not be able to shower my children with toys, i may not be able to bring them for holidays so often and i may not be able to give my kids all the luxuries of life.. but we are happy.. we may not be stable financially but we have given our kids all our love, attention and care.. but the important thing is WE ARE HAPPY... that is until somebody made us feel like we are troubling them and that's the last thing we want to do.. and we are really sorry if that's really what this is all about.. but believe me, no matter what we will never forget your help and love for us .. cos i still love you....

First i'd like to wish my beloved darling daughter, Nur Azalea Batrisyia a very HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY!!!.. mom and dad will always pray for the best for you.. you are our bundle of joy ever since you were born.. we are sorry for not being able to take leave today.. but we promise to celebrate your birthday tonite ok dear? till then enjoy yourself with abang2, kakak, wa girl and mak cu later k? we luv you very very very much!!!! muahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

and rite now i'm still elated.. still recollecting the breathtaking results of yesterday's Asian Idol.. yesssssss Hady Mirza is crowned the first ever Asian Idol!!!.. Congratulations Hady! You have made our country and most importantly the malay muslim community in Singapore proud! Didn't pin high hopes on him after hearing the judges mentioning the contestants from malaysia, indon and philippines as hot favourites.. as i lay in bed waiting for the results to be announced, i had braced myself for disappointments if one of those 3 countries won.. but the moment they mentioned hady's name i couldn't believe it for a moment but once they said 'from singapore' i immediately jumped up and shouted.. even my hubby who was already asleep woke up .. ehehhehehe.. so happy and proud of him.. immediately received calls from lil sis and even my mom.. we were screaming for a while before we managed to talk calmly.. hahahhaha.. couldn't get to sleep after that.. i guess i finally dozed off at 1...

and the funny thing is .. today is the first time i didn't feel any monday blues.. hahahhah

went to Jurong Point after work with hubby to find Tisya's birthday presents.. bought for her a Barbie doll and doodle pad (since she liked to scribble) at Toys R Us.. then took cab and hubby went to buy a cake while i went straight home.. ordered Canadian Pizza on the way.. when i reached home mom, lil sis, otet, bam2 n BIL are already there.. i saw 3 presents for Tisya from lil sis and mom.. after cutting the birthday cake, we had dinner and open the presents.. i'm glad that Tisya enjoyed herself today... I love you darling!

yessssss.. finally i did something to my hair.. which i've been postponing for so long.. so happy rite now.. nothing can take away my joy today.. reached lina @11 am.. by the time i finished it was already almost 3 pm.. took cab and fetched mom and the kids to go to IMM.. had lunch first before window shopping and bought groceries at Giant... hubby worked overtime today.. finished work at 6+.. he still had pain in his left thigh... so no silat for him today..

and talking about silat, hubby had told me that hafiz informed him that he wished to select Aimin & Tin2 to perform at a wedding on 23/12.. yessss!!! i was really waiting for this opportunity for them.. the only problem is that it's very hard to convince Aimin to perform.. i really think this is a good chance for him to overcome his shyness and fear... to anyone reading this.. Jaja, Iman, Zanah, Obek Tati, Mak Cu... pls pls pls encourage him to go for it ok?

my left eye is still swollen yesterday.. it started on saturday and become worse on sunday.. the pain had caused me headache as well.. so decided to consult doc yesterday morning.. tisya also was having fever and complain of stomach pain.. had brought her along to see doc.. i was given 2 days mc and some medications including antibiotics and eye drop... the doc said tisya could be having viral gastro-something.. can really make out what the doc said.. ehehhe.. at the same time hubby was also having migraine.. since saturday too.. i had asked the doc to give me anarex and i gave hubby 2 caps of anarex to take with the migraine tablet.. after seeing doc, lil sis and mom came and we had breakfast at Teh Tarik before heading off to Parkway Parade.. lil sis had wanted to do some grocery shopping at Giant.. went straight to lil sis's house at Eunos after that and we just rest there till dinner time.. Bik Aminah had cooked asam pedas ayam and fried macaroni.. my favourite!!.. had dinner, rest and off to home sweet home..

and today lil sis brought us to Harbourfront for lunch at Banquet.. hubby did not come along as i wanted him to rest first.. after lunch we headed to IMM cos mom had wanted to buy the trolley.. then we went back to my house and amy & tumy cooked maggi goreng.. it was super delicious.. hehehe.. it was raining heavily when mom and lil sis left since she had to fetch her hubby from work.. after shower, we watched tv and laze around while waiting for the SEA games soccer between singapore and thailand to start.. it was the semifinal.. got to admit that singapore's chances of winning is very slim considering what a strong team they had to face and its a home team.. and true enough s'pore went down 0-3 to thailand.. it didn't came as a surprise cos the young lions did not play at their best tonight..

had wedding cum cukur rambut today at CCK.. went there early as lil sis wanted to rush to TWM to watch otet's performance.. the performance was organised by Sri Warisan Performing Arts, the one in which otet was learning tarian.. she will be involved in one performance.. we missed the show @2pm but managed to catch the one @4pm.. overall the show is very good.. it had a mixture of songs, dance, dikir barat, sketch and even wayang kulit.. the show ended at 6 pm and mik & lis sent us together with mak to Teh Tarik for dinner before they headed back to CCK.. we had dinner while waiting for mama to arrive..

since its my saturday off, i decided to bring the kids to the library.. had returned and borrowed some books.. the kids also borrowed some children's books.. after that met up with hubby at Jurong Entertainment.. i had always wanted to try nasi ayam penyet from Waroeng Penyet.. and since they had a branch at JE central i decided to try... but i was disappointed as it is not what i had expected.. $4.50 but no soup.. and the sambal is not as nice as the one i had tasted at geylang market.. tin2 ate the chicken rice from the malay stall.. and its not bad.. only $2.50 and with soup.. the mee soto is also nice.. went straight home after eating so that the guys can rest before going for silat training

by 7.45 we had left for JGCC.. aimin did not want to start training first.. he had wanted to start next week.. today quite a number of moms stayed around to wait... and at the end of the training the group had asked us to join them to discuss abt the BBQ on 29/12 @ west coast park.. got to think of what to bring for the event.. will update again on the event later on.. till then ciao

finally i was able to play music on this blog of mine.. been trying to do it for a few days.. i really loved this song by my all time favourite singer Siti Nurhaliza.. not only becos we share the same first name but i loved her for her humbleness and powerful vocals.. ok ok so my name is spelt with double 'T'.. but its still pronounced the same rite? .. heehee.. will try to change the song every now and then.. meanwhile.. enjoy!

lil sis had sent me this sms after she told me that they (wif mom tagging along) wanted to go to my house today.. "Ni ler.. hari2 tak tau apa nak buat.. Mcm free gitu.. Hee hee hee... " ... Grrrrrr annoying rite?? mentang2 lah tengah cuti sekolah.. and to think that i'm stuck here in the office in this wet weather while they were at my house relaxing and probably sleeping.. boo hoo hooo... but its ok.. keje tu kan satu ibadah.. chewah mcm betol je.. heheheheh (saja nak sedapkan hati)

went to big sis's house after work yesterday.. mom and lis sis together with otet, wira, aimin, tin2 and tisya had already arrived earlier.. the kids are super duper delighted to meet their eldest cuzzies.. went to play at the void deck and playground.. while mom and lil sis went to fetch BIL from work, they had asked the kids to stay at home.. BUT i found out that they sneaked out again the moment mom and lil sis left.. hahhaha... naughty.. naughty... Jaja being the eldest had to stay home and look after tisya who dozed off.. me and hubby bought indian rojak from admiralty mrt.. had dinner at big sis's house and all of us went home @ 10.30 (i think so) .. reached home.. had a shower.. and.. zzzzzzzzzzzz....

and today the best thing is.. dad fetched me and hubby from work.. hurray!!..it was raining since noon.. and it was non-stop.. dad called while i was in admin office and seeing that it was his hp i quickly answered it.. and as i expected he asked me to wait at the lobby.. reached home @ 6.30.. and its time for silat training again for hubby and tin2.. it was still raining and the basketball court was wet .. so they had training inside the CC.. not many turn up for the training today.. i guess the weather had something to do with it.. it was nice though to sit around and watch them.. my only complaint is that tisya and aimin kept pestering me to buy them macdonalds!

okay i have a confession to make.. i've been watching youtube for the past weeks.. or maybe months.. at work.. heheheh.. and guess what drama i've been watching?.. beverly hills 90210!!.. hahaha.. okay laugh all you want but to me it's the best show everrrrr.. brandon and his twin sister brenda, steve, kelly, donna, david, dylan and andrea.. how they tackled the teenage issues is interesting.. watching it again gives me the chance to relive my teenage years.. i remember how i sometimes skipped religious class on sundays becos BH90210 starts at the same time.. haha

anyway i've watched up till season 4.. and been faithfully watching it while i do my work.. it's true ok?.. shannon doherty left the series after the 4th season so the rest of it were not very interesting to watch.. and i realise from the comments given on youtube that quite a number of the younger generations began watching it.. to think that some of them are still babies or not even born yet when this show first aired on tv.. and it's interesting to note that the actors/actresses were abt the same age as me so by now i think they looked very different (and older) haha..

ok so now i'm still thinking what other series that are interesting to watch.. preferably those that we haven't seen for a long long time.. maybe like 'whizz kids', 'misfits of science', 'V' and my fav 'voyagers'.. hmmmmmm lets just wait and see..

yesterday went to AMKCC for the Pesta Silat Kesenian (Artistic Silat Festival).. woke up at 6.30 am and had a hard time waking up the kids, esp khairin.. reached JGCC at 8.35 am and met up with a couple of moms who also came to support the team.. the bus set off for AMKCC at 9.15 am and we are one of the first ones to reach AMKCC.. the other grps competing are Kuningan, Sendeng Sekilas, Seligi Tunggal, Selayang Pandang and Gayong Perwanit.. Sendeng Pukulan competed in 3 events.. solo putra & silat pengantin, both performed by Zul.. and masal by 4 of our boys.. they were pretty good and their performances are confident throughout.. the grps on our left and right had loud supporters.. i mean real LOUD.. but i'm happy just the way we were.. low profile but we lend our support as best as we could... dun have to shout at the top of your voice to show your support.. esp for the girls.. it doesn't really reflect a good image for your team and i find it kind of annoying actually.. sometimes i feel they purposely did that to irritate us.. i'm sure glad our girls and boys behaved themselves most of the time.. At 5 pm the results were announced.. we managed to clinch the second place for silat pengantin.. Congrats to Zul!.. the rest of the events were won by other grps.. i personally feel our team shd be able to win at least the 3rd place.. well as they say.. kalah menang adat pertandingan.. i only hope the judges are fair and square in determining the winners.. otherwise it will be unfair to our boys who had trained hard for this competition and had put up an excellent performance.. I only hope our team did not feel disappointed and will keep on trying hard to gain exposure in the silat arena.. we will always give our support as long as we can..
