the first performance by Sendeng Pukulan

today we set off to a wedding early.. reached there at 1 pm.. lil sis said we broke our record.. hahahha... we had rushed to the wedding so that we could go to TWM at kampong glam to watch performances by the silat members.. there is a royal circumcision function and we would not want to miss it.. moreover we always wanted to give our support to the pesilat .. even though my sons did not perform.. this is their chance to showcase their skills to the public.. reached there at 2+ .. saw the silat boys and girls already waiting outside for the VIPs.. not long after, the much awaited boys arrived.. there are altogether 4 siblings who are going to be circumcised.. and the whole event was very royally done.. from the yellow tablecloth and decorations to the attire.. i must say the whole thing was awesome.. what's more the whole event was even open to anyone.. even tourists who happen to come by.. so we can also enjoy the food.. but as usual i was very shy so only hubby ate to his heart's content.. hehehhe.. however, i must say all this is nothing compared to the silat performances.. some of them are really good.. I really liked the solo performances by one of the boys (whose name i do not know) and by Zul, who is one of the instructors and senior.. we stayed around after that while they are still waiting for the Sultan to come and the silat team are supposed to perform one more time.. luckily mom came along and there is also another mom whose son performed earlier so i did not feel bored.. waited till 5 pm but still no sign of them.. finally they gave up waiting and the silat team went home by bus.. we waited for dad to fetch us and we headed to Zam Zam.. had murtabak and teh tarik before finally going home.. even though we left home early but i didn't feel very tired.. in fact i really had a great time today :-)
