Brought my kids to watch an s-league match at Jurong East Stadium ... the match between Albirex Niigata and Tampines Rovers.. been wanting to bring my sons to watch and this is the first time we went to watch s-league match... But we only managed to watch the second half as we went home first to shower and change, no time to even have our dinner.. Even so, it is a fun-filled experience and the atmosphere is nothing like what i had imagined.. i didn't expect to see quite a number of people coming to watch.. I've always thought the s-league did not pull in a crowd but i was proud to see the 'Kallang spirit' is still around.. We sat near the Tampines Rovers aka the Stags supporters and they were playing the gendang and chanting non-stop to support their team.. the Stags beat Albirex 2-1.. we reached home at around 10.15 pm and only then we had our dinner.. ;)

My sons especially Aimin is a fan of Noh Alam Shah.. the national footballer is his inspiration and i hope my sons can be like Alam Shah one day.. Insya Allah..

i received a very sad news today.. one of the keppel guys whom we always call Bob passed away.. we always talked when he came by my office.. and he would talk about fishing.. my hubby had just gotten to know him.. meeting him a few times and they talked about fishing and stuff.. even my kids remembered him after meeting him at his bro's wedding last month.. heard he was in CCU TTSH last friday.. he was in pain while on the way to work and went home where he collapsed.. he was well liked by many and most of the keppel guys were at the hospital and his funeral .. hasn't got the chance to visit him.. i'm still in shock now.. dia dikebumikan pada hari yang istimewa Nisfu Sya'aban.. marilah kita sedekahkan Al Fatihah untuk nya dan semoga rohnya dicucuri rahmat.. amin..

Yayyyy!!! been looking forward to today... went bowling at Orchid Country Club.. lil sis had already reserved 2 lanes, one for adults and another for the kids... But before that, we had to attend a wedding there.. a relative of mine got married.. the place is very comfortable .. but the atmosphere is different there.. unlike when you hold a wedding at the void decks like we always do.. i remember last time whenever a close relative got married, the elders would sit around and the younger ones would usually help out or simply hang around.. which makes the event grander. And I must say I hate it when people keep clearing plates and cups when we are still sitting and eating at the table.. it can be really irritating and at times infuriating.. it's just like telling you "STOP EATING AND GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE NOW!".. seriously..

Anyway, right after the wedding, we headed straight to Orchid Bowl.. just can't wait to start.. the kids had ran off first.. by the time me and mak reached there, they had already changed into their bowling shoes... the first game i scored .. can you believe it?!.. 130!!!!... it was the first time ever i managed to score that high.. i just dunno why but i really feel like i'm in top form.. hahahhaha.. and the best thing is lil sis had to treat us to drinks after the first game... yippppeeeeeeeeeeeee... but what i really liked is the spirit everyone was in that day.. all of us had a great time..

yipppppppppeeeeeeeeee... we watched the fireworks again today.. but this time we had the best view.. managed to get a space near the Merlion.. reached there at abt 7.30 pm.. the crowd had already gathered there but there's still space.. got to know that my bro and family were in the bumboat to watch the fireworks.. the view must be more breathtaking.. sis and family reached there at 8 plus.. at 9 pm the fireworks still hasn't started.. but there are 2 ppl in front of us already stood up... my sis calmly told them to sit as they are giving signals to everyone and they will stand up too.. we had this unpleasant experience last year and our kids don't get to enjoy the fireworks.. but this time we were very happy as everyone sat throughout the fireworks display and the kids get to see the fireworks clearly.. thanks to my 2 brave and loud 'spokepersons'.. you know who you are.. hahhahaha ... and also to all those who were there & patiently sat down throughout to watch the display.. THANK YOU again!

to my dearest niece Jaja who lost her hp today.. bibik is very sorry abt what happened.. i know it hurts so much to lose your hp but i hope you get over it soon ok? love you..

today i'm SL for one more day.. my voice is still like a rockstar and i'm coughing so bad.. felt a bit of breathlessness but luckily its not very bad.. in the afternoon lil sis took us to harbourfront for lunch.. it was raining so the kids couldn't go to the waterplay at Vivocity.. in the end they spent time in toys r us.. me and sis decided at the last minute to go and see the fireworks at Marina Bay.. so after sending mak home we drove back to Vivo, parked the car there and took MRT to city hall.. i must say it's a challenging task considering there are 3 of us (me, sis and my hubby.. BIL had something on so he joined later) plus 5 kids and my sis's maid who still needs our supervision.. hehhehe.. but somehow we managed to get to our destination.. reached Marina Square just in time.. it wasn't the best view but the kids can still enjoy the fireworks.. it's longer than last year.. abt 15 mins.. so syiok..

hmmmmmm talk about being on sick leave .. hee3x ; )

i'm on 1 day sick leave.. went to see doctor last night while the boys are having their silat lessons.. got quite a number of medications, for cough, phlegm, asthma, antibiotics.. thot i can wake up late today.. but my lil girl keeps crying for reasons i still doesn't know.. but she seems a little cranky today... wonder why.. hmmmmmmm.. it's such a nice weather.. started raining from 7 am until now.. great weather to be at home.. hee3x

yeahh!! we went bbqing at East Coast.. but we didn't go too early as our helpers are busy preparing the food.. we reached there at abt 5 pm.. it was raining when we arrived but it soon stopped.. we brought mee hoon goreng and marinated stingray and chicken wings for bbq.. it was a short one but we had so much fun.. wish we could do this again soon.. heheheh

Sis and Mik brought us to Changi Village for lunch.. had the nasi lemak there with teh tarik.. yum yumm.. then off we go to East Coast Park as the kids wanted to cycle and my little Bam2 wants to go fishing.. he just had his first very own fishing rod and was very excited to catch his first fish.. I told him jokingly that he can always fish at home and catch his dad's Arowana.. boy, you should have seen my BIL's look.. it's like he's going to kill me.. hahahhaha!!

we cycled all the way to Bedok Jetty.. but it started raining just after we reached there.. and my lil tisya is having a fever.. haizzz.. but luckily it's just a passing shower.. we headed home to Eunos after that to wash up and change before we left again at night to have supper at New Hawa Restaurant.. By that time, Bam2 and Tisya were already asleep..

ok my third day off .. and we had already planned ahead what we're gonna do today.. lil' sis fetched us and mak early in the morning and we went to IMM for lunch (or brunch i think).. then we're off to CSC Bukit Batok and me and sis went bowling while the kids (minus tisya) went swimming.. it's the first time i went bowling alone with my sis while mak & tisya just watched and eventually dozed off.. all of us had fun and headed home after that.. and that was when i felt everything just fell apart and all the fun we had just now were all washed away.. But still, I thank Allah for blessing me with a sister who understands me so much and immediately pull me up to be strong again.. and also my BIL who supported us all the way.. I just can't thank you both enough.. Can't imagine what we'll do without you..

It's like a marathon for me today.. decided to stay at lil' sis's place and after packing we fetched Mik from work and immediately sent Tet for her silat lesson.. it's the first time i saw her with her silat attire.. she looks so smart and i felt proud of her when i saw her training.. she seems so focused and took the training seriously.. After buying food, we went back to sis's place..

Holiday for everyone! Yayyyy!!!!

First of all, Happy 31st Birthday to my lil' sis, Normaliza.. I will always pray for your safety and prosperity.. You will be always be part of me and i'll always be there for you sis no matter what.. Hope you have a wonderful birthday.. and we hope you liked the presents that me and mak chose for you.. hehehhe

We had dinner at Lagun Sari to celebrate lil sis's birthday.. the food is nice and the place is very cosy and family friendly.. we don't get to watch the fireworks.. but i don't mind cos after that we headed to Vivocity and spend time outside where we can enjoy the night scenery.. it's very peaceful and relaxing.. if given a choice i want to spend the whole night there with my whole family members.. hee3x

My two boys made me proud today.. they each had won a medal during their Sports Day in school.. Aimin and his group won 1st place in the 'Chain game' and Khairin & his group got 3rd place in the 'Mine game'.. I was there cheering for them like any other kiasu parents.. Felt so glad as I knew they wanted the medals so much.. it meant a lot to them.. glad to see they are both happy..

Our day doesn't end there.. lil sis fetched us right after that.. we looked at each other like mirror images.. why you may ask? its because both of us wore red t-shirts and black pants with a cap! .. sehati sejiwa lah katakan.. hahhaha.. then we fetched mak and had our meal at Harbourfront.. all of us were starving.. we spent the rest of the day at Vivocity.. brought the kids to do sand art, had coffee at Starbucks and let the kids play in Toys 'R' Us.. at night, the boys went for silat.. they seemed tired at first but after a while they begin to enjoy the session..

It's a tiring day but all of us had fun..

It's my big sis, Nor Melati's birthday today... Happy 41st birthday sis! Wish you happiness among your loved ones forever... heard you were sick today.. kata demam terkejut sebab dah 41 eh? hahhahhah... anyway, takda celebration ke? mesti ada surprises kat rumah ni.. hehehhe
My big sis has always been helpful and never fails to go great lengths to help others.. she's always been the firm and strict one.. I remembered when I was in secondary school, she would always tell me off whenever I shorten my skirt.. and everytime she would unpick the seams.. I was scared and angry with her at that time but now I know what she did is good for me :)

we had a wedding today at Bukit Batok CC.. reached there at abt 3 pm.. just in time to see the bride and groom came in after a change of bridal clothes.. they were accompanied by a group of bhangra dancers instead of the usual traditional kompang.. i've been waiting to get over and done with this wedding.. went there for the sake of my dad.. its his relatives after all... but the truth is, i can't wait to get out of there.. luckily i get to meet my beloved sisters.. younger sis were asked to sing .. not once but twice! hahahhah.. the first song is a duet Jangan Pisahkan which she sang with i-dunno-who .. and the second she sang is a dangdut... forgot the name of the song..

the best thing is younger sis had booked a karaoke room at CSC Bukit Batok.. yayyyyy!!.. so while the kids went swimming, we sang our hearts out.. mum also joined in.. it was so much fun.. the place there is very relaxing.. no crowds.. and it reminds me of a resort.. hope we can go there again soon!

yup.. and today i brought along my three clowns to work.. and also my mum!.. heheheh.. its been quite some time since she came here.. after work we went to have lunch at Mr Teh Tarik.. by this time i was already so sleepy.. which is always the case everytime i have to work on saturday.. heehee.. went straight home after eating as the boys are having their silat in the evening..
