today is very hectic despite my saturday off.. woke up at 8.30 and remembered at once about my dad's workfare bonus.. he's been asking me to call up and enquire abt it but i totally forgot and today is the last day.. called cpf up and was told that my dad do not have to do anything.. in fact they've credited the bonus into his account already.. so glad to hear that cos it means i do not have to go to cpf board today.. and on to my next 'mission'.. sending my old maid to the agency.. been enduring her for a month since she wrote me that letter.. i made it clear to the agency that i do not want her in my house beyond june 30th.. otherwise i will have to cancel her work permit and send her back.. she has no idea that i've planned everything.. only told her at 10 am today.. half hour before we leave for the agency.. her expression was that of shock but i dun think she expected to be transferred to another employer.. serves her right! after sending her me and mak together with the kids went to the nearby coffeeshop while waiting for my new maid.. noraini called me while i was abt to hail a cab saying that my new girl has arrived but they have yet to check her luggage.. so we waited at the nearby shops.. quite a long wait.. at 1.30 finally i was able to collect her.. on top of that there is no available cabs since there's no surcharge.. had to book one which arrived abt 5 mins later.. reached home at 2 pm.. then went to Mr Teh Tarik with Bad to buy food.. at 4 pm we get ready to go to a open house at cck.. left home at 5 pm and came back at 8 pm.. just in time to bring Khairin home first to change and then send him to his first silat lesson at jurong green cc.. so excited for him.. aimin refused to join.. he's more interested in soccer.. sigh!.. we watched khairin warm up.. not long after, lis and her kids & aminah came and join us .. we sat at mac while watching khairin training.. lis will be spending the night at our house since mik is on night shift! yeah!!.. .. i've bought snacks and coke.. we watched 'the devil wears prada' while snacking.. it feels just like a pyjama party.. hehehheh.. but my eyes are already half closed and the first disc is not even halfway through!.. i guess must be from all the exhaustion and tiredness from the events today.. but at least i have peace of mind at last..

i had a shock when i read the newspaper headlines this morning.. wwe superstar chris benoit was found dead along with his family.. he was the most respected and well liked by many fans around the world and also by other wrestlers.. apparently he was said to have killed his wife and 8 yr old son before he committed suicide.. i think this is the most tragic death in wwe.. the last time i remembered a wrestler's death made it to the headlines was when owen hart died when he fell after the rope which secured him while he entered the ring snapped.. i remembered seeing benoit when he came to Suntec City along with Torrie Wilson and Tajiri to promote the wwe tour (which we went to watch at Indoor Stadium).. he seem taller in person than on television.. i guess we can't always tell if a person is really what he seems to be.. in a way, this incident made me realise that we must always devote ourselves and care for the people we loved most..

on to more cheery update.. went to Jurong Green CC to enrol aimin and tin2 for silat.. however we ended up watching them in training but we were given the form to fill up.. will be going back there on saturday to return the form together with the payment.. and aimin & tin2 can start right away!.. i was excited but aimin seem uninterested.. i told him its good for self defence.. since nowadays there are a lot of bully cases in and outside school.. i hope he will find the silat sessions interesting as he slowly gain the skills

such a busy day for me.. this morning had to attend CIRIS training at ICA Academy (Jervois Rd).. totally forgotten all abt it this morning and left for work as usual.. already reached Khatib mrt when i remember and got down at amk mrt to take taxi there.. gosh, the morning traffic was terrible.. i arrived there just in time and had to fork out $16 for the taxi fare.. *sob sob* :P .. the training wasn't that bad.. not as boring as i expected it to be.. but the place is so remote that i dun feel like spending so much time there.. after the training me and jen tried to walk out to the main road but ended up going the wrong way! lucky thing i checked my hp and got 1 missed call fm mama.. immediately called him back and was so happy to hear his phone ringing (normally he would off his hp).. got to know he was nearby.. he fetched us not long after and sent us to amkh.. felt so relieved to be in a place so familiar as opposed to the training centre just now.. hahah

almost time to knock off.. going to visit bad's uncle at ttsh who was admitted yesterday.. actually felt so tired now.. but just feel we had to go and visit him cos he was such a nice man..

Happy 8th Birthday Aimin!!.. mak and abah (not forgetting adik and tisya) wish you had a wonderful birthday today.. we will always pray for you for good health and prosperity.. hope you will excel in your studies..

it's a busy day for me as i started the preparations around 10 am.. went to the nearby shops for last minute shopping and to buy a birthday cake.. went home and immediate started my cooking.. i managed to cook laksa (that reminds me.. i still owe juliah the recipe.. sorry friend.. will give it to you once i'm free ok?), cornflakes and mars snacks as party snacks (which i saw on nigella show.. it's really lovely) and fried macaroni.. there are also some instant curry puffs and samosa.. and i've bought some balloons and a happy birthday banner to decorate the dining room.. somehow it's become a mini birthday party.. lis, mik, mak, otet and bam2 came at ard 3 pm with presents for the birthday boy.. he was so happy to see them.. can't wait to open up the presents.. he got a remote control racing car, walkie talkie and tv game.. all his favourite stuff which he wanted for quite some time (esp the walkie talkie.. been pestering us for it).. after makan we sang happy birthday and aimin cut the cake.. for the rest of the afternoon the kids were busy playing with the new toys while the adults were busy karaoke-ing till night time.. mama came around 8 pm and we had a second round of feasting.. we continued to karaoke till around 9 pm

all of us esp the birthday boy had so much fun today.. i'm so glad that i'm able to make this mini birthday party happen and make aimin happy.. it's the least i can do for him.. would like to thank my family esp lis, mik, mak, mama, otet, bam2 and not forgetting bik aminah for coming and liven up the occasion.. looking forward to the next birthday celebration in august ;-)

i went to the clinic again today.. ehheheh.. just need another day rest.. lis and mak are picking us up today to go to IMM.. had lunch at Bagus and the kids played for a while at the new playground.. then we went to Joo Chiat cos mak wanted to collect her new clothes from the tailor.. it's like a tradition that we must drop by at our favourite stall Haryassin.. had my fav murtabak tuna.. yummyyyyyy.. after that lis sent me and the kids to IMM again before she sent mak home.. need to do some grocery shopping for aimin's birthday tomorrow.. bad joined us later.. i plan to cook laksa and fried macaroni.. didn't get to try and bake the cupcakes which i plan to do cos i don't have all the ingredients and no mixer.. hope everything goes smoothly as planned tomorrow :-)

had a really bad headache since monday night.. arrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! .. went to the doctor and got only 1 day mc today .. but after taking medicine i still had difficulty sleeping.. maybe its becos i was in the comfort of my room and own home.. i managed to sleep for only an hour.. after i woke up i felt so much better..

First of all, let me wish my dearest hubby and my beloved Mama a Happy Fathers' Day!!.. Thank you for everything you've done for us and we will never forget your sacrifices in bringing us up well.. we love you very much!!!.. which reminds me of a very good Tamil movie that i watched last nite.. it chronicles the life of a man in bringing up his two sons well despite of him being uneducated.. the younger son vows to take care of his parents well after he did a terrible mistake.. he managed to fulfil his vows even until his father's passing.. its a very sad movie..

woke up with a very bad cold this morning.. i feel so terrible today.. even after taking one satchet of panadol it still doesn't go away.. arrrggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! wonder if i have to see the doctor tomorrow and have a day's rest??.. heeheeheee

went to jemputan at woodlands just now.. my BIL's nephew got married.. get to meet my beloved elder sis, Jaja, Zanah & Iman.. Jaja was the kendarat on duty and i heard she did a pretty good job.. Well done, Jaja!! hehehhe.. everything was fine except for this damn cold which just refuse to go away.. so i've been sneezing, sniffing and blowing my nose throughout in the midst of all the other guests.. after the wedding, mak and mama drop by our house to rest.. it felt so nice to see them relax and spend time at my house.. but they couldn't stay too late as younger sis will be coming to fetch Bik Aminah from my parent's house.. as of now, i think younger sis and family are on their way home.. probably at Gelang Patah R&R to buy dinner..

So its Father's Day but there are no particular celebrations as my siblings are all occupied this week.. elder sis is busy helping out at the wedding and younger sis not back yet from holiday.. but just seeing my dad happy and calm with his grandchildren around gives me a sense of satisfaction.. :D

Yayyyy!!! it's my saturday off.. it feels so shiok to wake up late and have nothing to do.. heehheheh.. me and mom brought the kids to IMM to check out the new waterplay that has just opened on Level 3.. it was raining at first and it dampened the kids' spirit cos they've been looking forward to have fun.. but luckily the rain stopped and the weather was back to normal after we had our meal at Bagus.. i would like to thank my bestest buddy for telling me first abt the place (eh macam baru dapat anugerah lak.. akakkakaka) .. cos my kids and about 2 or 3 others are the only ones who came prepared and they conquered the whole place till the guards told us that the place will be closed at 7 pm.. the others can only watch my kids play and have fun since they did not bring any extra clothes for their kids.. hahhahahha!! .. ok that's evil of me.. but really.. just watching my kids enjoying their childhood really makes my day..

it's my beloved niece's birthday today.. Happy Birthday Jaja!.. bik yo hopes you will achieve whatever you dream of and study hard ok? i love you very much.. i know you will grow up to be a lovely and wonderful gal... can't believe you are already 13.. in case you are wondering.. that's her on the extreme left.. right next to my mom.. but that was abt 9 or 10 yrs ago.. i really liked this picture of my parents with their 4 eldest grandchildren.. that's why i put it up here .. they are all grown up now.. dah jadi anak bujang dgn anak dara pun... hehehehheh

today is me and hubby's 9th anniversary.. it's exactly 9 years ago that we had our akad nikah.. still remember those wonderful golden moments.. i can even recall our first meeting 14 yrs back at Brickworks CC.. hahahhahah... i hope we stay together forever and may our marriage grow stronger as the years passed... aminnnnnnnn

Yesterday went out with my bestest buddy after work.. had known her since Primary 5.. yup 23 years already.. went to the same secondary school and worked at the same place (that is until i move on to my present company)... she had wanted to buy some stuff and at the same time pass me something.. we talked, laughed and exchanged stories while having dinner at Bagus.. really had a great time.. its been quite some time since we went out together.. too bad the time is too short since its a weekday.. must do this again some day ya buddy?

Today younger sis set off for a holiday with her family.. they are going to Cameron and KL.. how shiok.. how i wish i could take leave from work and go with them.. how i wish........
But it's okay.. there's still half a year more to go.. must save up my leave and $$$ .. Anyway, enjoy your holiday okay sis? Have a safe trip and be extra careful while you are there.. Things are gonna be a little quiet without you and the kids around.. hahahhahahha.. Hugs and kisses to our beloved Otet and Bam2.. must behave yourselves and have a good time ok? Looking forward to your safe trip home...

Yesterday we went to elder sis's house.. reached there at abt 8pm.. elder sis cooked some food and we had dinner.. meanwhile my niece Jaja played the vcd "Jangan Pandang Belakang".. I dare not concentrate too much on the movie for fear of not being able to work on Monday.. hahahahah.. did manage to catch some scenes of the movie though.. esp the ending.. As if that's not enough my hubby had to borrow the vcd "Bhoot", a hindi horror movie.. told him to watch alone in the room as i won't join him to watch it.. heehehehhe

But it's fun to gather with my sisters, parents, nieces and nephews.. Jaja, Iman, Zana, Otet and Wira.. we get to exchange news and stories..

And today we brought the kids to Jurong Lake Park.. it's such a nice place to relax and the kids love the big playground there with the sand.. the only thing missing is there are no big field for the kids to play football.. i hope to bring Otet and Bam2 there one day.. i'm pretty sure they will have fun there

today i feel so frustrated.. already my N6288 is still in hospital receiving treatment and not yet recovered.. and now my N6111 is showing signs of ailing.. on/off by itself.. and when i press the buttons none seem to work.. sighhhhh.. been asking around whoever has a spare hp that i can use in the meantime.. but luckily for me my dear friend Juliah has offered to lend her sis's spare hp.. just dun know how to thank her and her sis.. :)

Really dun feel like working today.. had applied leave for today but not approved as 2 other staff had taken leave.. haizzzzzzz.. what a waste.. and its school holidays now.. and what's more most of my friends are on leave.. kak mar, anita and even my buddy kin.. well, i guess my turn will come soon.. heehehehhe

went to Pasir Ris Park yesterday.. its so much fun even though the weather did not permit us to bbq.. it wasn't raining heavily but it was drizzling.. apart from that, the weather was perfect.. sis bought nasi lemak and i bought some kueh2.. the kids spent most of the time playing soccer.. strictly no swimming for them and even the dads.. even though khairin had been pestering me to allow him to play with sand, which of course i wouldn't since it's still near to the sea... me, mum and sis as usual spent time talking and laughing.. when dad came to pick us up we went to Muslim Teh Tarik near Joo Chiat to have a drink.. had so much fun today.. looking forward to the next family outing..
