aimin & khairin 'swinging' at changi airport

on saturday my sis brought us to tekka market to eat briyani dam.. it was superb.. even though the weather is hot, thank goodness the food is wonderful.. after that we headed to Changi Airport, me and sis's favourite place to hang out.. we had planned to go East Coast but there is a change of plan.. i loved to hang out at the airport.. looking at people going for holidays or just letting the kids running around.. also its the best place to hang out during hot weather.. hehehhe
yesterday went to a wedding just a few blocks away from home and after that went to Queensway.. had wanted to order a jersey with customized name and number printed for my kids.. after a few rounds finally found a malay shop with the right sizes.. the price is also quite reasonable.. aimin had wanted the number 8 (like noh alam shah) and khairin number 19 (like khairul amri) .. heheheh.. as for tisya we had chosen number 4 .. also intended to give it to Aimin as his birthday present.. but we can't keep it from him so ended up giving it to him and his siblings on the same day.. told him it is to be his advance birthday present from us.. :)

As of today, i have made up my mind.. i will not take up the job as kindergarten teacher.. first of all it's such a BIG pay cut for me.. can't afford to take the risk.. and secondly i won't be able to take day off during school term.. what if i need to take off day for urgent matters? like the other day when my mom wasn't feeling well or when my kids are down with high fever? my sis advised that i can always take up the CPT/DPT course myself and with the cert or diploma i would be able to apply at any pre school.. that has helped me a lot in my decision making..

right now my mind is occupied.. recently i applied for the post of kindergarten teacher.. but never expected to receive the reply so soon.. i am excited but at the same time i don't know if i should go for it.. since the pay that they offered won't be the same as my present one.. but it's always been my ambition to be a teacher since i was young.. this could be my stepping stone to realise my dream.. but then there are other things that i must consider.. haizzzz.. guess i can only make my decision once i have gone for the interview..

Happy Mothers' Day first of all to my beloved mum, sisters, my SIL and all the moms out there... Today I receive this thru sms from my longtime friend Petrine @ Nurlina..

It's very touching.. so i forwarded it to my sisters and friends..

We had a gathering at mum's place.. it was wonderful.. except the only one missing is my bro who was very busy.. we brought food and elder sis also cooked asam pedas ikan tongkol at mom's place.. she also bought cakes at bengawan solo.. younger sis brought bubur durian with bread.. and i bought rojak mamak and goreng pisang.. yummyyyyy.. i ate until my stomach couldn't take it.. hehehehe...

Before going to mom's place i stole some time to go Jurong Entertainment and bought 3 bars of dark choc truffle cakes from The Royals.. specially for dearest mom and sisters.. I also receive a very nice brooch from younger sis.. thanks a lot sis! muahhhhhhhhh..

it's good to see my nieces and nephews together.. my kids had a fun time playing with their cousins.. i saw orchid for the first time without her two front teeth! she got them extracted yesterday.. and she looks cuter than ever... heheheh

It's my beloved nephew's birthday today.. I like to call him Bam Bam and my daughter will be Pebble.. the characters from Flintstones.. I find it so appropriate for them.. heehehee.. anyway, Happy 4th Birthday Wira! Mak yo, abah, abang, abg tintin and betty love you very much.. we hope you grow up to be a fine handsome boy and stay cute & slim ok?.. you will forever be our 'bulat boy' always.. that's for sure!!

Hope that we will be able to celebrate his birthday soon.. not sure what my sis has in mind.. she's always great at planning family outings.. totally opposite of me.. hehehhehe.. whatever it is, i hope everyone will be in the best of health.. my family has been 'attacked' by the vicious flu virus.. i was the first one to fall victim to this virus.. and then the last three days my second son was sick and now my daughter .. all of us had high fever.. hope the rest are okay.. i was beginning to feel tired mentally and physically.. and i got to know the birthday boy was still down with fever.. been 5 days already.. poor thing.. i hope he get well soon...

Alhamdulillah.. i've finally recovered from high fever.. my temp was 39.0-39.3 on Sunday. Been quite some time since i had fever with flu, headache and body aches. I even missed my beloved niece's (that's her on the right) performance at Taman Warisan on Sunday. Had promised her that i will be watching her dance but sadly i had to break that promise because of the fever and flu. I'm so sorry, Tet.

Since today is Labour Day, we went to Changi Beach with my dearest sis and family and mom.

my dearest beautiful sis and her hubby.. they are always there for me through thick or thin (apart from my parents, of course).. she has become one half of me.. i love you very much sis.. can never imagine life without you
